Amber and Nick’s wedding in North London, Islington to be precise, was such a pleasure to capture.
I had a warm welcome at Amber and Nick’s apartment. The family was buzzing around getting ready, even grandpa got luxurious treatment. After a full pampered session by the hair and makeup artist, Amber was looking beautiful and chic in her wedding dress with a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo shoes to match.
Everyone was relaxed and ready to go in good time with the help of a very organised sister. The ceremony took place at the grand Islington Town Hall. The wedding was taking place in one of four rooms. The Council Chamber is a beautiful grand room, one of the largest of the four and I’ve captured many a London wedding here.
The wedding theme was elegant and simple. I lovely mix of soft yellow, pinks and oranges, a beautiful combination for a summer wedding. With a small party of guests, this made the wedding a very personal affair.
After the ceremony, we took a walk through the old cobbled streets of London to Fredericks. This is where the reception was being held. As we entered the cocktails and canapés were ready and waiting! People laughed, drank and admired the lovely decorations, as I wandered around capturing the love and all the details that went into making their day a truly special wedding day.
